Project Inspiration
Tailor Richard James is taking its service up a notch, offering clients home comforts at its newly refurbished, 2,500-square-foot store on Clifford Street in Mayfair, around the corner from Savile Row. Following a 2 million pound refurbishment, the new House of Richard James has colorful interiors that mirror the silks and fabrics.
The store's refurbishment, designed by David Thomas Design, features handmade lighting - a chandelier from Gabriel Scott's Welles Reimagined by Sybille de Margerie collection. A beautiful cluster of hollow and plain shapes, the Welles Central Chandelier by Sybille de Margerie uses moveable padded vegan leather panels to create a truly customizable lighting fixture, available in a variety of metal and vegan leather finishes.
Parisienne interior designer Sybille de Margerie has utilised her years of experience designing luxury hotel and residence projects to create her Welles Reimagined capsule collection. As a contrast to the original Welles sharp metal and glass silhouette, Sybille has created a new interpretation revealing the feminine side of her signature design style.
Richard James' refurbished Clifford Street store is open from Friday 1st March 2024.
